  • Fire & Security Service Engineer / Small Works

    Location: Chelmsford & Braintree catchment area

    🔥 Exciting Opportunity for Fire & Security Service Engineer / Small Works 🔥

    Protect and Detect Ltd is a leading provider of fire safety solutions committed to ensuring the safety and protection of residential properties. With a dedication to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a skilled Fire and Security Service Engineer to join our team based in and around East Anglia. For upcoming projects in the Chelmsford & Braintree catchment area

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Good understanding of all aspects of commercial fire alarm systems, intruder CCTV and door access
    • Servicing of Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV Systems and Access Control.
    • To provide callout response for the client as per a callout rota.
    • To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
    • Take a proactive approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
    • Ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents and records are maintained accurately.
    • Compliance at all times with Company Policy & Health and Safety legislation.

    • Commission Scheme – based at 10%

  • Fire & Security Installation Engineer

    Are you a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Installation Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team and contribute to the success of our growing projects.

    THE ROLE

    • Carrying out planned Installation of Fire systems to the correct standard
    • Carry out system commissioning and handovers to customers.
    • Carry out fault finding on systems.
    • Completing paperwork to the required standard
    • Programming of systems and an understanding of cause and effect
    • Meet predefined target times for installation.
    • Compliance at all times with Company Policy & Health and Safety legislation.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Good understanding of all aspects of commercial fire alarm systems, intruder CCTV and door access

    As a Residential Fire Sprinkler Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in residential buildings.     Responsibilities:

    • Install, inspect, and maintain residential fire sprinkler systems in accordance with local and national codes.

    • Physical fitness and ability to work in various residential environments.

    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
