Working Together with the Community

DPL’s Electrical Engineer Lewis Brown and Protect and Detect Operations Manager Michael Hadley went to visit pupils at Trimley St. Martin Primary School.

The children from the school were taking part in the primary and secondary engineers leaders award, which saw the whole school come together to imagine an engineering design that would benefit other people.

In order to gain further insight into the world of engineering the school called on Ipswich M&E and fire and security specialists DPL Group to help out with a few ideas.

Michael Hadley and Lewis Brown visited the school in Kirton Road to take part in a question and answer session and to share drawings of the group’s latest projects, which include work at Glenwood SEN School, Two Rivers Medical Centre and the new Easy Hotel in Ipswich.
